Get off at the Newton/Watertown exit.
At the top of the ramp, keep to the right, following the signs to Boston.
At the third light, take a right, following a sign that says Brighton, onto Park Street.
Proceed one block and turn left, following a sign that says Brighton, onto Tremont St. | | You will pass through an area called Oak Square and the name of the street you are on will change from Tremont to Washington Street. Keep going until you see St. Elizabeth's Hospital on the hill in front of you. When you come to a stoplight where the hospital is directly in front of you, and a Boston police station is on your left bear right to go up the hill to the right of the hospital. Go to the fourth traffic light (after crossing over the four-lanes of Commonwealth Avenue at the second light). This is the corner of Washington and Beacon Street. Take a left onto Beacon Street. Our Beacon Street entrance is about thirty yards down on your right, with a big 'Brookline Tai Chi' sign. Park anywhere along the street.

From Soldiers Field Road traveling east or west, get off at the exit which says Brighton |
| | and follow the signs to Brighton. This will put you on Market Street, heading south toward Brighton Center. Cross over the Turnpike and go approximately 0.7 miles until you come to Brighton Center, where Market Street intersects with Washington Street. There will be a People's Federal Savings on your right. Turn left onto Washington Street toward Boston and proceed for two blocks until you come to a stoplight where St. Elizabeth's hospital is directly in front of you, and a Boston police station is on your left. | | Coming from Boston the turn is on your left, and on the right coming from Newton. There's a Russian Pharmacy called Apteka on the corner and it's street number is 1610 Commonwealth Avenue. The second stoplight is the corner of Washington and Beacon street, otherwise known as Washington Square. Take a left onto Beacon Street by crossing over the Westbound side of Beacon and the train tracks. From the West (from Route 9 towards Boston) Travel past the big Chestnut Hill shopping mall on your left and continue for another couple of miles into Brookline. You will go by a big reservoir on your right, at the end of which will be a stoplight. Go to the next stoplight after the reservoir. There will be a Volkswagen Dealer on your right across the street. Turn left here onto Cypress Street and follow Cypress for about one-half mile until you come to the next set of lights where there is a CVS drugstore on your left. Turn left here onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street for about one-half mile, until you reach a major intersection with Beacon Street. Take a right onto Beacon. Our Beacon Street entrance is about thirty yards down on your right, with a big 'Brookline Tai Chi' sign. Park anywhere along the street.

From I-93 driving North Pass by all the downtown Boston exits, including the Government Center exit. Take the Cambridge and Storrow Drive exit on the right. Get on Storrow Drive going west, being careful not to go to Cambridge. Follow Storrow Drive, passing all the exits into Boston or Cambridge. Follow the directions from Boston via Storrow Drive (below).

Look for the Fenway/Kenmore Square exit to the left. Take this exit and bear to the right, |
| | following the sign to Kenmore Square (NOT Fenway). Turn right at the first stoplight, onto Beacon Street. Go through one stoplight and go straight through the next intersection, taking the middle street, which is still Beacon Street. Go over the bridge and you will come to a commercial area where you will see the streetcar tracks emerge in the middle of the street. Drive through a residential/apartment building area to the next commercial area. The main intersection here will be with Harvard Street (this area is known as Coolidge Corner). Keep going straight on Beacon through another residential/apartment section to the next commercial area, which is called Washington Square, at Washington Street. As you come down a hill and begin to see the commercial shops here, look across the street to your left and you will see our big 'Brookline Tai Chi' sign. Turn left at the street before the traffic light at Washington Street and park anywhere along the street. If you miss this left, go though the light and make a U-Turn a block further up to come back down Beacon Street the other way.
